November 22

The basement is almost done! We still have some finish work to do - trim, door hardware, railing for the stairs, etc. The carpet went in today.


These doors go to Bill's workshop. This is the view from the bedroom across the room.

This is the bathroom. I really like this bathroom - I love the tile, the wall color, and the fixtures. This room was the most fun to pick stuff out for.

November 15

We've been getting flurries here and there for about 2 weeks now. It was beautiful on Halloween - near 70 degrees. Two days later we got our first flurries. Today we had the big, fat, soft flakes start falling about 10:00 this morning.


About 15 minutes ago Alex and Caty looked outside and were super excited to see that the snow is sticking to the grass (oh joy). It's a bit blurry - I didn't want to drag the tripod out.

November 7

My step-brother got married today. Here are snapshots from the wedding. It was really hard to photograph in the church because it was at night and there wasn't a lot of light. Caty and I stood up.

It's harvest time! Even more exciting than planting time because this time around, the large machinery mows stuff down and spits stuff out - LOL!

Rock on with my bad self!! While on my guitar solo tour in Rock Band , I played a perfect Suffragette City. I RULE! LOL!
